Well, as you know... no news is really good news. Our family has just been enjoying being family. Crazy to say.. I can't believe it is already May.
Things continue to be "uneventful" for us. Now, of course, we have to put uneventful in perspective. Boo is good. He has had a few ups and downs here and there, but nothing to complain about. He continues to amaze me every day. His separate J tube has been a blessing, and we continue to deal with motility issues, but all in all we are fabulous! We continue to thank God every day for our miracle man.
Hayden is turning in to quite the little guy. He just started baseball and loves it.. at least for the time being. He continues to be the sensitive one. We completed the botox and casting and sorry to say we are still walking on our tippie toes. They did another round of botox in hopes to help keep the range he has, but sooner or later he will probably have to have surgery. And after the last statement and what they charge for botox... seriously!!
Last but not least Mr. Harrison... I am to big for my little shoes... He continues to be the spit fire of the group. Even though he can have a sensitive side, he still has the strongest personality of the group. Although, if you ask him.. he is big and tall. : ) You want to see a little guy get mad.. just tell him he is too little.
So, we continue to look forward to summer coming one of these days. We continue to look forward to uneventful. Hunter is going for some day surgery on May 20th, bronch, ABR (hearing test), and ear tubes, so nothing huge.
We hope all is well on your end of the world. God Bless!

It's Been A Year
It's hard to believe it has been a year. A year since I laid praying over my son asking God to please make him better. A year ago when my husband and I had to make the decision to treat or not to treat. A year ago my son went in to cardiac arrest. A year ago when all I wanted to do is hold Hunter.
I have no idea where this year has went. The whole experience still feels like yesterday. It feels like yesterday we had Hunter's birthday party in the hospital, yet he has another birthday right around the corner. Every morning I see Hunter I am reminded that Miracles do happen. It has been an emotional roller coaster for my family this year. I continue to be reminded every day just how lucky we are. I am reminded every day how precious each moment is, and how fast things can change right before one's eyes. We continue to be blessed.
I will never forget 2010, the good or the bad. Again, Hunter has changed me without ever saying a word. I will never forget that miracles do happen. I will never forget the friends we have made and the hurtles we have overcome.
Thank you God....for our Miracle : )
God Bless
