The Things We Make Him Do

I went and spent an afternoon at school with Hunter and we had a good time. Here is he in music class shaking his bells, hanging out in the classroom and enjoying some time in his corner chair! He has good and bad days at school. Some days he will stay awake the whole time he is there, and sometimes he will shut down and sleep, because he is just not in the mood, I know how he feels sometimes.




Hopefully we are back to being healthy for a while now. Seems like the boys just want to keep passing things back and forth... the end has to be in site soon. Thanks for checking in.

On the Mend

Looks like the Huntman is on the mend. The throwing up has stopped and he is tolerating his feeds at a slower rate. We are going to keep him out of school until Monday, just so he can get some of his strength back. He is still a little on the noodlie side.

Long Night

Last night was a long night... Poor Hunter was not happy. He was crying and whimpering all night. I felt so bad for him. Talk about your heart breaking when you hear a baby crying... it is even more heart wrenching when your have a non verbal child whimpering. I always know something is wrong when he is crying, I just don't know what. This morning we figured out it was an upset stomach, he vomited all over. Poor thing. We will stop the feedings and switch to some pedialyte, and hopefully this will pass quickly.

Otherwise the rest of the house is healthy at this time, hopefully we don't all share this again.

No big plans for this week. We have to get haircuts, and hopefully everyone is healthy to go to Donna's on Friday. We have to get the boys Christmas picture taken. I will make sure to post them when we get them back... I will also try to get some other updated pictures posted.

Getting so big

Last night I was sitting on the couch looking at the boys in amazement. It is hard to believe that Hunter is going to turn 7 years old. He is truly our miracle. We continue to be amazed by him.

Hayden is almost 5 now, and is growing up right before our eyes. His love for his brothers is truly amazing. He is really starting to understand who Hunter is and how to communicate with him. Hayden is starting to enjoy Harrison becoming more independent. They like to wrestle around on the floor together... but Hayden better watch out, he might just be bigger than him one day.

Then there is our little Harrison who just turned one on Oct 19. He is running around and nobody can stop him now. He is becoming very interested in Hunter and all his accessories, thank goodness he has only de-trached him once. He likes to sit by Hunter and talk to him, and after a while he gets the look from his big brother.... enough alright : )

We continue to be truly blessed. Sometimes I have to remind myself to sit back for a moment and just watch... and remember it is all about the little things.

The Weekend

It was a busy weekend for the Woldts.

Friday, Mom went to school with Hunter. We had a nice time... Hunter has a new teacher working with the teacher he has had since he was three, so it is nice to get to know her.

Saturday we went and stayed at a little waterpark here in the Valley with some of our friends from our support group. We had a great time, but talk about a lot of packing just for one night...... Next time, we might have to make it a longer trip.

The boys all loved the pool. Hunter did much better this time then he did the last time we tried taking him to a water park. He seemed to enjoy the water this time, in fact it put him to sleep. When we went last year, he cried the whole time, so this was a nice improvement.

Harrison and Hayden were in their glory in the water. Hayden was able to feel some independance going down the slides, so he really seemed to enjoy that. Harrison enjoyed splashing, and even went under the water several times.

Sunday we had my great nephew's baptism, so we had to divide and conquer. Mom and Hayden went to the baptism, and Dad took Hunter and Harrison home. Hunter was exhausted, and Harrison was tired and just wanted his bed. It worked out well.

This weekend will hopefully be a little less eventful. Dad is probably going Deer hunting so mom and the boys will get to hang out...

A Good Week

It was a good week in the Woldt household

Hunter is back in school now that he is feeling better.

The last few weeks reminded me how blessed I am. Hunter is truly a miracle in our lives. He will never complain, he will just look in to your eyes and smile. He reminds me every day that miracles do happen and that we need to cherish every moment. He continues to show us his strength.

Then there is my little man Hayden. His compassion continues to amaze me. We had our Halloween party today. Some of the kids have not met Hunter yet. I explained to Hayden that they may have questions. Hayden looked at me with all of his innocence and told me not to worry, he would sit them down and explain to them that Hunter is just different, and that is OK, because we love him. At the age of 4 it amazes me how aware a child is... He remains to be so loving and excepting.

Then there is the little Hair bear (Harrison) that wants to be right in the thick of things with the others. He wants to wrestle with Hayden, and likes to investigate Hunter. He continues to be a little love bug. He continues to show his own personality and love for each of his brothers.

Our boys continue to be blessings in our lives.
